    Hello,
I have been unsuccessful in trying to disconnect my 4G/LTE cellular modem on demand.
Successfully connecting, passing traffic, controlling route persistence, etc.
Issuing: sudo pppd call gprs& SUCCESSFULLY in all cases.
I have tried the /etc/ppp/ip-down script and even the ‘disconnect chat’ string unsuccessfully.
It is not a permissions or path issue but a syntax issue I’m sure.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

You can send “sudo killall pppd”
