    Hi,

    I was looking to see if anyone has insight into how I can use the onboard GPS on the IoT Cellular Shield without a SIM card.

    Thanks so much!

    Yes, you can use the GPS of the Shield without a SIM card.
    You may check the available functions related to GPS in the Raspberry Pi Cellular IoT Application Shield Library

    Thank you for your reply, when I run any of the GPS functions it just constantly outputs the command to the serial port and I never get a response back.

    Below is some sample code:

    from cellulariot import cellulariot
    import time

    node = cellulariot.CellularIoT()

    node.disable()
    node.enable()

    node.turnOnGNSS()

    The sensor_test.py works just fine

    Use the following lines to access data.

    node.getLatitude()
    node.getLongitude()

    Make sure you are testing it outdoor.
