    Hi,

My problem is as the title, can 3G-4G/LTE Base Shield work with only USB connected on raspberry pi? Since I am sure it can work with only USB connected on Windows.
If not, which pins are necessary to connect along with USB to make is functional?
Besides, is this shield can work only with UART connected without USB?

Another problem I am suffering is that it seems like my PPP is created successfully on my raspberry pi since I got ip address assigned on wwan0 and I can ping google through AT command, but when I try to use web browser to open same web page, it always failed with EER_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED or the connection is interrupted.

    Thanks

    Hi.
It works with both USB and UART. For UART you will need to solder the UART RESISTOR pads available under the shield.
We recommend using USB as UART will limit your connection speed.

Note: You cannot use QMI interface via UART.

    For the issue EER_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED:
    – If you are using Vpn Plugins in Google Chrome and Other Browser, turn them off and try connecting as they are.
    – Cancel if you are connecting with Proxy Server
    – Check the DNS Addresses you are using.
