I have been trying to find information on using a cellular modem with Verizon in the USA.
My questions are going to seem very elementary, and I apologize for being uninformed.

Is it possible to transmit voice, data and SMS over the EC25-V? I am trying to find a modem capable of being used in a DIY smartphone.
I work daily in PCB development, I work commonly with 0201 components (imperial), and I work quite a lot in mechanical design as well. I suffer for knowledge of networked devices however, and I would appreciate constructive feedback on whether this modem might suit my needs.

I understand that this will not be as convenient as a normal phone.

There is no Voice codec in HAT / Shield products. Data and SMS can be transmitted via USB.
You cannot use the module on Verizon network unless you register it.

    Have a nice day.
