    HI,

I need some clarifications regarding the Sheilds that are avialble

1)The antenna which is shown in the Raspberry pi-IoT Shiled kit 4G LTE modem kit Image ,does it need to be Outside/Inside the box Or Anything would be okay.
2)Does this Modem Support the North American Carriers like Verizon,US cellular etc.
3)Does this modem needs a Special Power Adapter to power the Shield or Power from Raspberry is enough, which one is recommended?
4)Raspberry Pi Cellular IoT HAT – LTE-M & NB-IoT & eGPRS? will this Modem Covers the Carriers in India and USA as well? Especially northern American carriers like Verizon and US cellular.

1)The antenna which is shown in the Image ,does it need to be Outside/Inside the box Or Anything would be okay.
If you are using an enclosure, the antenna needs to be outside the box. You may use SMA antenna instead of the uFL antenna. In that case you will need SMA to uFL connector.
As for example, the following enclosure has antenna port outside the box.

2)Does this Modem Support the North American Carriers like Verizon,US cellular etc.
There are several variants according to region(mentioned cellular carrier are supported.). Please check the Modules page for details.
You can also check Quectel’s official site for the module.

    3) we would like to Import these devices to India, How long would it take to reach to India?
It generally takes 2-3 days to ship.

4)Does this modem need a Special Power Adapter to power the Shield or Power from Raspberry is enough, which one is recommended?
If there is no other power consuming sensor or device connected to your RPi, then only Power from Raspberry Pi is enough.
Official Raspberry Pi Adapter (5V 2.5A output) is recommended,

    5)Raspberry Pi Cellular IoT HAT – LTE-M & NB-IoT & eGPRS
What is the difference between point 5 and LTE modem pi-Hat kit?
These 2 HAT/shields work with different cellular technologies.
Raspberry Pi Cellular IoT HAT provides CAT M1, NB-IoT and eGPRS.
While LTE KIT is for 4G/LTE connections.
Both the Shield/HAT has additionally GNSS support.

You will need Quectel EC25-E for India.

The Quectel EC-25V modem supports Verizon. I’m using it. I don’t think that part is available from Sixfab, but you can buy it on Amazon.
