The shield doesn’t support calls. But you can receive SMS. Please check AT commands guide for details.27 February 2019 at 1:09 PM #36771
Thank you for the answer
but why when I dial from my phone to the modem
and then write ATA on the rpi
the phone opens the Connection like the modem answered.4 March 2019 at 11:57 AM #36826
It will receive(as you can send AT commands) the call but you will not get any voice support since the voice data pins are not connected.4 March 2019 at 7:59 PM #36862
I don’t want to get voice data I want to get ring word on the open port
that I can send ATA command but I don’t get any input on the open port when cell coming in.5 March 2019 at 9:52 AM #36874

I can get 4 ttyUSBx options
/ttyUSB1 Receives GNSS/GPS data
/ttyUSB2 Sends AT command when connected to PPP
/ttyUSB3 connects PPP
Is there any other device connected to your Raspberry Pi?8 March 2019 at 12:10 PM #36934
Yes I have USB HUB connected to the RPI
and on the HUB I have USB GPS receiver
USB WIFI, USB Keyboard and Mouse,
and the Quectel EC25-E modem.11 March 2019 at 11:24 AM #36970
USB keyboard and Mouse is not going to cause any problem.
Could you try Quectel ec25 + base shield alone first?29 March 2019 at 11:14 AM #37278
I connected the modem directly to Rpi USB,
With the keyboard and mouse connected to the HUB,
Now I have USB1-USB3 for the modem,
I can get calls from USB2 it working
thank you for the help.
