I have installed the 3g/4g Base Shield V2 to my Raspberry Pi 2 model b, but after following the tutorial exactly, I am unable to get the PI to connect via ppp to my Verizon 3g Network. I also have the Quectel UC20 module installed. Everything is installed properly, SIM is activated, and the device is plugged in VIA USB to the PI. after running sudo pppd call gprs , my output looks like this:

Any help is much appreciated. As I said before, I followed the tutorial EXACTLY. I even formatted my SD card and started again with a fresh install of Raspbian to see if that would work, but it did not.

    Hi,

I have the same issue, and I resolved it by use a bigger antenna ! 😀
    (Like what, size matters… ^^ )

    I hope I helped you 😉
    Bye
