Description
Overview
The Quectel RM520N-GL is a cutting-edge 5G IoT module optimized for industrial and commercial applications. Compliant with the 3GPP Release 16 standard, this module delivers ultra-reliable, low-latency communication (URLLC) and massive connection density.
Designed in the industry-standard M.2 form factor, the RM520N-GL is the perfect solution for upgrading from LTE-A to 5G. It supports both 5G NSA and SA modes, ensuring compatibility with current infrastructure while future-proofing your devices for standalone 5G networks. With global band support, this single module covers nearly all mainstream carriers worldwide, making it ideal for global deployments in industrial routers, home gateways, robust laptops, and digital signage.

- Easy Migration: Pin-to-pin compatible with Quectel’s RM502Q-AE (5G) modules.
Important Notes:
There is no built-in SIM card slot. It must be connected externally.
Antennas must be purchased separately. MHF4 socket antennas or cables should be used.
It does not support millimeter-wave, only Sub-6 is supported.
It is recommended to use a heatsink attached to the modem for cooling.
While the module has Verizon and AT&T certifications, additional certification may be required when integrating it with these operators.
